Secrets of Ages Past for Shadowdark RPG

A collection of old-school inspired rules and classes for Shadowdark RPG!

This compendium (formerly published by "Lucky Rat Press") for Shadowdark RPG gathers together rules from three formerly separate supplements, Arcane Secrets, Ancestral Classes, and Star Signs, all edited together with updated text, art, and layout!

The three sections contain:

• Star signs which, in settings where humans are the only playable ancestry, help differentiate characters and add a bit of flavor to your roleplaying!
• Three new classes for Shadowdark RPG based on the classic non-human ancestries featured in the first few editions the world's most famous d20 fantasy game. 
• Guidelines for introducing the "vancian" spellcasting rules found in other editions of polyhedral fantasy games into Shadowdark! Spellbooks, spell scribing, and slot-based spell memorization are all here, alongside recommendations for critical successes and failures that make default Shadowdark spellcasting so unique.
